(More customer reviews)Not that you have a lot of choice in the matter... this is the only unit of its kind supplied by Nikon for the D200. The unit can take pictures, be used as a trigger (like motion detection) and works in continuous or single shot mode. It all works just as advertised and is pretty slick. The only issue is the wire: small connector and a wire that gets in the way. The older D70 had the IR built in! Why not with the D200? Yes... this is not really this product's fault.
