(More customer reviews)I received this item for Christmas. It has a battery backup and adjusts for daylight savings time with a simple switch on the back. That is cool. The sound that comes out of this thing is amazing. It compares to a Bose in my opinion. However, after 2 days the clock and radio features quit working. I unplugged it for a few hours and then everything started working again. Five months later the same thing happened. There is power to charge my iPod but the clock, alarms, and all radio features are totally dead. I've unplugged it for 2 days and nothing. Not sure if I have a bad one or not. I like this unit and would like to replace it with the same model but I'm nervous. After the first time I decided to set my alarm on my phone as well. It has never not worked until this last incident.
My recommendation: Buy the extended warranty and keep everything handy.
PROS: Awesome sound, display is large and the brightness is adjustable, easily plays iPod tunes with the included remote, decent size.
CONS: Power button is not separated from the rest of the buttons and is nestled in between some other buttons, the snooze button is kinda small and really close to the other buttons.
