(More customer reviews)I started using these last Summer to record live classes on location in a building not equipped for video, and they have worked quite well.
The sound quality is great, operation is easy, and connection options included with the kit are nice - both 1/8 inch cables and adapters to professional XLR inputs. I use them with Canon H1-AH cameras, and they work very well.
The battery powered receiver mounts in the camera (or other) hotshoe, and while not large or intrusive, it is still easy to see the display.
There are many features I have yet to explore, such as frequency agility, but from what I have seen so far, these mics are a solid investment in good sound.
Spendy, but worth it, in my opinion.
